Partner club Harare City Briefs RI President on Footbridge, Shares Construction Progress

Harare City Rotary recently had the pleasure of welcoming Rotary International President K.R. Ravindran to Harare, Zimbabwe, where members had the opportunity to brief President Ravindran on the footbridge project and their partnership with the Rotary Club of Dupont Circle.

Harare City Rotarians also had the opportunity to share pictures of the footbridge's progress, which has progressed more rapidly than expected due to a shortened rainy season this year and, by exchange, a worsened drought. The height of the columns on the bridge now surpasses the depth of the river, meaning Rotarians can expect continued construction progress in the coming months.
