About Us

Think you’d be a good fit? Here’s how to join

Our Mission

We use our professional diversity and international perspective to serve our community—both local and global—in concrete ways, through hard work, innovation, and creativity. The synergy of the club lets us have a higher impact on the world than possible as an individual, while enriching us through fellowship.

Who You'll Meet at Our Club

Our club brings together civic-minded professionals from across the DC region who want to give back, build community, and make a meaningful impact. Members span sectors and career stages, united by a commitment to active participation and service. Many join to engage locally and stay for the relationships — Rotary is a place where colleagues become friends, and where local service connects to a global network of people working to do good in the world

Why Members Choose This Club

Members choose our club for its hands-on approach to service and its welcoming, down-to-earth culture. We prioritize working directly with local organizations so members can see the impact of their time and energy, not just their donations. Our meetings are intentionally casual and social — often over happy hour — blending Rotary traditions with a sense of fun and openness. In a city that can feel heavy and fast-paced, the club offers a space to recharge, connect authentically, and leave each week feeling hopeful and energized by the good we’re doing together.

ABOUT ROTARY INTERNATIONAL

Rotary International is a worldwide organization comprised of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Members of Rotary clubs, known as Rotarians, provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service—in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

In 1932, Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor created The Four-Way Test. The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions:

"Of the things we think, say or do:  Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?" Rotarians around the world strive to live their lives in accordance with The Four-Way Test.

Dupont Rotary's official RI sister club is the Rotary Club of Berlin-Unter den Linden.  Click here for more info on their club!
